Otary is a wandering village inhabited by gypsies, who travel throughout Spain fleeing from the Bigmouths, monstrous beings who travel throughout the peninsula trying to eat as many gypsies as possible. These beings are henchmen of the Carriers, whose power is immense thanks to some stones called moon tears. In a world where the moon is the source of all magic, Axel is born as an offering to it, and in his quest to protect his people, an unexpected journey will unfold to discover his inner power and his relationship with the moon.
